The Lone Star's three-level layout works especially well for families, multigenerational trips, and groups traveling with kids. Multiple gathering spaces mean everyone can spend time together without feeling crowded—and the game room and bunk rooms give younger guests spaces of their own.

★ Pool Availability & Heating ★
Our private outdoor pool is seasonally available approximately May 1 through October 15, weather permitting. Because spring and fall temperatures in the Maine mountains can vary considerably, opening and closing dates are subject to weather and overnight temperatures.
July & August — Complimentary Pool Heat
During our peak summer season, pool heating is included with your stay at no additional charge. We aim to maintain a comfortable water temperature of approximately 82–84°F.
May, June, September & October — Optional Pool Heat
During the cooler spring and fall months, guests may choose to add pool heating for $75 per night ($450/week)
Pool heating must be purchased for the entire length of the reservation and requested and paid for at least 72 hours prior to arrival so we have adequate time to bring the pool to temperature. Guests who choose not to purchase pool heating are still welcome to enjoy the pool at its natural water temperature whenever the pool is open.
Weather & Pool Temperature
Outdoor pool temperatures are affected by air temperature, overnight lows, wind, rain, and other weather conditions. During particularly cold or inclement weather, the pool heater may not be able to reach or continuously maintain the target temperature. For this reason, specific water temperatures cannot be guaranteed, and refunds are not provided when weather conditions affect heating performance.
Pool availability itself is weather-dependent, particularly during May and late September/October. If weather conditions require us to delay opening the pool or close it early for the season, guests will not be charged for pool heating that cannot be provided.

Cancellation Policy: Payments are 100% refundable of the total rental rate if notice of cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the arrival date. Payments are 50% refundable if notice of cancellation is received 14-30 days prior to the arrival date. In the event of a no-show, there is no refund. No refunds will be given for storms or weather events. We do not issue refunds due to road conditions. Exceptions may be considered at the manager's sole discretion, subject to being able to rent the dates in question to another party at a comparable rate.
We understand that life can be unpredictable and sometimes things happen. For this reason, we strongly suggest guests purchase Travel Insurance . Trip Cancellation coverage (included) keeps you from losing your vacation savings if you need to cancel for a covered reason.
